Hello just a quick update - photos maybe later. We arrived in Japan. Hoorah! Went to ikeburkuro to stay and pretty much fell asleep straight away - travelled to hakodate today. Not sure if there was more laughing, crying or sympathetic vomit feeling. Hugh spewed up on each train trip we took. On the first one it was all over the isle in our train car, a chair and on some guys suit jacket. We felt really bad and offered him money for dry cleaning but he declined. I had no idea what the correct japanese etiquette is for when you throw up on someone.
The second time he had a plastic bag and I was sitting next to him. vomit after vomit after vomit. I still remeber it now.
Anyway he has stopped vomiting and I think he might be feeling a little better. Will update you with more when more time has been had.
