hello the keyboards here are supper annoying

Almost every time i use the keyboard i end up accidentally stuffing it up.
Anyway - there are a couple of tales I need to tell.

First there is the two days we rented a car in aomori. the first day the plan was to visit the snow monkeys and then Mt orzore and then yagen onsen.

We got to the snow monkey place, there were about 30 monkey chaps. They looked very cold. They were huddling together with eachother. Some were checking eachothers hair for wriggly fellows. there was one awesome little one who kept running to different parts of the enclosure and eating ice. I think he was trying to find the tastiest ice patch. They were pretty awesome to watch. chris was going to throw ice at one, but once he saw how cold they looked he felt sorry for them and didn:t do it.

Anyway - after the monkey place, we tried to go to mt orsore. we took the highway to get there, but after getting half way to the mountain the road closed. There was another road we could take, so we headed in that direction - again the road was closed.

We were ready to give up, but there was one more road to take. We thought what the hell and head down the last highway. This one was for yagen onsen not the mountain, but as it was so late we ditched the mountain attempt. It was dark, snowing and the roads were icy. We finally made it however, the road wasn:t closed! woohoo. We got it however, the road wasn:t closed! woohoo. We got out the car and found the onsen. Then as we headed inside, the man working there made the family cross sign - the onsen had closed.

hours of driving up dark snowy roads - and the damn thing was closed when we got there! We tried to find some outdoor hotsprings, but in the process almost got the car bogged in snow twice. After this we gave up and headed over to a familiar place - pizza hut! The pizzas were better than in australia but about 3 times as expensive so definately not worth it again, but worth the experience of trying take out food in another country.

Oh well - IBetter get ready to go out so i will have to l;eave the other tales for later
