11:32PM on the 17th of December. A hot, humid night. Showers just starting. No relief from the heat in sight. I don't think I will be getting any sleep tonight.

Chris hasn't arrived yet. I have just finished packing and finialising all of our stuff. Passports: Yes. Flight info: Yes. Japan rail pass: YES! International drivers liscence: Yes. Yen: Yes. I hope I didn't forget anything. oops. Just remembered something now. Deoderant!
Thunder outside now. I hope the weather is OK for the plane taking off.
