hello - I am waiting here for a little bit longer than I thought so I will give a more detailed update. We arrived in Aomori yesterday and explored the town.
Nothing extremely exciting to report yet - hopefully when we recieve our rental car we can explore some of the more interesting sights such as Japans northern most monkey sanctuary and some onsens etc. etc.
Today we aren:t completely sure of what to do, either explore the town or head over to Hirosaki where there is apparently a very nice castle.

Enjoying your blog. Missing you here on Christmas Day. It's starting to rain and is not too hot so we will enjoy our roast dinner. Meat is on the BBQ, Teresa is washing up, Tristan is on the X-box, Zoe is asleep on the sofa (she says hi) & Brian & I are cooking! The usual Xmas day. Have a good Xmas.
